Whether it’s Chinese, Indian, Italian or American cuisine or good old pub grub that takes your fancy, there’s no denying that enjoying a romantic meal for two is the perfect way to spend Valentine’s Day. But who said February 14th has to just be about couples?! Forget your relationship status – we think this Valentine’s is a great excuse to get together with friends or family and have some fun!
Ditch the lovers’ novelty gifts and instead join forces with friends for a Secret Valentine and buy each other special presents to show you care. Have a Gal-entine’s Day or a Bro-mantic reunion; catch up over coffee, have a beer with brunch, laugh your way through lunch, converse with a cocktail (or two!) or reminisce over roulette. Learn how to play poker, bowl a strike, or treat yourselves to a sumptuous sundae with sprinkles. Head to the cinema to watch a comedy to put you in a good mood, a thriller to get your pulse racing or a romance like the hotly anticipated Fifty Shades Freed. Try a Five Guys handmade burger with ALL 15 toppings and wash it down with a peanut butter and Oreo cookie milkshake! Master air hockey, perfect your Pacman performance, become a Just Dance disco pro, or watch Sky Sports from noon until night if that’s what you want to do!
However you spend your Valentine’s Day, make sure it’s with the people you love the most, and make it unforgettable.
