Hey!
So, we’re well into lockdown now. You’ve either eaten your weight in junk food or filmed your workout on Facebook Live for no one to watch.
You’re either surrounded by the same faces at home (… and as much as you love them, they’re starting to do your heads in now) or you’re on your own and you’ve Facetimed every person in your contact list for ANYONE to entertain you.
Let us keep you company at home. We’re on Capital every day from 4pm. Lots of fun and helpful things have happened on the show recently:
- We had a self-improvement expert on to give us tips on how to deal with anxiety and ways to stay positive. You can listen here: https://twitter.com/CapSouthWales/status/1240345461309018112
- A submariner revealed ways to cope with restrictions, like not being able to leave the same four walls (do submarines have four walls?). For example, stick a picture of a beach to stare at every day. Genius if you ask me!
- Also, TV chef Ellis spiced up our tinned food lives with tips and tricks on how we can cook up something amazing out of something pretty boring!
We found the most amazing game when I ‘worked from home’ a couple of weeks back. Check it out by listening here: https://twitter.com/CapSouthWales/status/1240339059232382982
If you need to stimulate your mind over the next few weeks, take me on in a game of ‘Know It All’, where you’re pretty much guaranteed a win…. we’ve discovered that I am definitely not a ‘know it all’! I’ve asked to cancel this feature, but according to Josh: “it’s fun for others to hear just how horrendous you are!”.
Here’s a question for you, can you remember the last time you had a conversation that didn’t involve coronavirus? Bet the answer is no?! Get involved in our ‘CoroNOvirus Chat’, where we talk anything but that. Can you do it, though?!
Also, weekends. remember them?! You know those two days that we all used to look forward to!
If you’re looking for ways to make sure weekends don’t become extinct, check out ‘Josh and Kally’s Stay At Home Hits’ for the best ‘In In’ night you’ve had. It includes banging tunes and kebab references. Calm down, don’t all rush at the same time! Check out the links on our Twitter @CapSouthWales.
So, if you have a spare 3 hours… let’s be honest, you probably do right now, catch our show weekdays 4-7pm on Capital South Wales for a little distraction from the madness of the world.
Stay At Home. Stay With Capital
