To celebrate World Smile Day this Fri 2 October we asked you to tell us what puts a smile on your face! This year has been a series of ups and downs for all of us, but at The Red Dragon Centre we’re determined to keep you safe and keep you smiling!
Our survey found that 85% of participants continue to smile while wearing a face covering. Although their smiles may not always be seen, 98% of respondents said that smiling made them feel better.
Participants of the survey were also encouraged to share what had made them smile this year and we found that seeing family was the most likely activity to put a smile on people’s faces, while time with friends came in second place.
Emma Constantinou, Marketing and Tenant Liaison Manager at The Red Dragon Centre, said: “This year has been challenging for so many but we are pleased that people are finding joy and still continuing to smile, even behind masks.
“Since reopening the Centre in August with additional measures in place, our visitors have embraced our ‘Keep your distance and keep smiling’ messaging, enjoying their favourite activities in a safe yet fun way.”
