13 FEBRUARY 19 – GALENTINE’S DAY AT THE RDC
‘Galentines day date with my 3 besties at The Red Centre was all I needed for Valentines week! Forget National Pizza Day or Galzed Donut Day and all the other fake national days we like to celebrate after seeing them trend on twitter! Truly, if you’re going to pick one fake day to get hyped about… it should be Galentine’s Day. Why? Because it’s a whole day dedicated to smothering your female friends with even more love than you usually do!
Burgers, bowling and boys chat… oh and BACON milkshakes! Yeah, for real, It was easy all under roof at The Red Dragon centre and we got right down to business at Five Guys as soon as we arrived. I say burgers, I have this obsession with the hot dogs in Five Guys, don’t hate me, but I had my favourite and then was egged on to try the new shakes with actual bacon pieces! Erm, the shakes are delish as always, tastes like a smooth chocolate ice-cream but with crunchy bacon bits was a bit unusual to say the least. I recon you should try it if you’re brave enough. Everyone has that one pal who is obsessed with bacon sarnies, right?
Boy chat and gossip was loooong over due and we probably hogged the table for far too long in Five Guys, but the atmosphere was great as always, friendly and welcoming. Plenty of chips to share between us, thankfully Five Guys fill the entire bag!
Mimicking the perfect teen date night, we wandered over to Hollywood Bowl for a little bit of fun on the alleys. Its great to slouch back with a hot chocolate and chin wag but sometimes having a laugh and a bit of fun creates those great memories. Especially when you are a competitive bunch of people like my friends and I. That’s what its all about, the fun moments captured between you and you pals and that’s exactly what the RDC creates.
Literally one of the best Valentines Dates I’ve had. Roll on Galentines 2020! Clintons, do you do cards yet?’
