To celebrate the Snow Trail arriving in Cardiff Bay this festive season, we’re inviting young and old to enter a world of winter enchantment at The Red Dragon Centre.
Join us to enjoy an unforgettable *FREE encounter with the magical Snow Lion and Svalbard the Polar Bear.
Visiting from the Forests of Eternal Snow and accompanied by the Red Queen, the giant white lion is one of the largest animatronic creatures in the UK, measuring two metres high and five metres long. Combining cutting-edge animatronic puppetry, sound effects and music with a breathtakingly realistic appearance, children and adults alike will be enraptured by this incredible creature who is a mythical emblem of the season – celebrating the light of human kindness in the depths of winter’s darkest days.
Known to the Sami people as “the old man in the fur cloak” the Polar Bear is a powerful symbol of the strength and endurance of the Arctic. Meet Inka, driven South from her maternal den high on the Arctic ice, she seeks a new home for herself and her cubs. Accompanied by a Sami gentleman from Svalbard, they have arrived on our shores, step forward and meet the planets largest carnivore (she’s friendly), soothe her cubs and pose for a photo.
