Cadwaladers is launching a great new initiative on Friday 27th April with the launch of a new loyalty card. The old paper card will be ditched in a move to minimise the stores environmental impact.
To celebrate, the store will also be giving aware 27 reusable travel cups randomly on 27th April. Why 27? To honour their long heritage after establishing Cadwaladers in 1927.
To further their course, they will also be offering 25p worth of loyalty points to every customer who uses a reusable cup in store AND their fantastic team will wash out these cups too – regardless of brand!
The store is even taking extra measures to reduce it’s carbon foot print in the coming weeks. These include:
- Compostable disposable coffee cups, ice cream tubs and cutlery
- Paper straws to replace plastic
- Packaging of ‘Take Home Tea and Coffee’ to be reduced to little or no plastic
- Eco friendly bamboo mug available for purchase
