Get ready for a weekend of movie magic at The Red Dragon Centre! Our Movie Mash Weekend is bringing your favourite film worlds to life with two days of iconic characters, interactive fun, and plenty of photo-worthy moments – all while supporting the Alzheimer’s Society.
The fun runs from 12-4pm each day, starting on Saturday 30 August, when characters from the UK Garrison will be making a spectacular appearance. Come and meet your favourite heroes and villains from a galaxy far, far away – the perfect chance to grab a selfie!
Then on Sunday 31 August, get ready for some supernatural fun as the Welsh and South Wales Ghostbusters take over the Centre. Look out for Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man mascot, explore a brilliant range of props and activities, and see a custom Ecto-1 car up close.
And that’s not all – Sunday’s excitement continues outdoors with a visit from a custom Bumblebee car from Transformers and a classic American car, giving fans the perfect chance to see these iconic vehicles up close!
The event is completely free, but we’ll be collecting donations across the weekend in support of the Alzheimer’s Society. Whether you’re a movie buff, a sci-fi fan, or just after a great day out – come and enjoy a weekend full of action, fun, and film magic.
