Barry Love Island Special at The Red Dragon Centre
When we found our official Barry Love Island couple there was only one place we thought to send our lovebirds to and that was The Red Dragon Centre! Firstly, spoilt for choice on activities, secondly who doesn’t love a traditional teenage date of bowling and burger & chips?
We went with bowling over a romantic chick flick at ODEON so our couple could get to know each other a bit better. First and foremost, this is an official date for our newly crowned Barry Love Islanders, Laura and Blaize and dates should be fun.
Bowling is ridiculous fun, even if you suck at it, plus it is a window to the soul. Seeing how someone reacts to winning and losing is hugely important when sussing out a first date. If they beat you and then scream, ‘YES ‘AVE IT!’ and take a victory lap around the alley, you can assume that they are a little full-on (I might or might not have done this before). If you win and they say, ‘I HATE THIS GAME WE SHOULD HAVE GONE TO THE CINEMA’ and throw their shoes down the lane, maybe you don’t want to attend another date night with this person. You get my drift, right? A little flirty help from the man always goes down well when I pretend to be horrible at bowling and then secretly surprise him with a strike!
It’s safe to say, when I gate-crashed the date for 5 minutes, both Laura and Blaize were having a great time and there was no aggressive competitiveness from what I saw at that point. They even chose cute names for each other on the scoreboard! Lush!
From then on, my lips are sealed. All I will say is they loved their meal at Five Guys and the over-dinner conversation flowed very well! Word has it, there next trip to the Red Dragon Centre is to see the latest rom-com at Odeon for a cheeky snuggle! Yay!
Barry Love Island was brilliant fun for us on Capital Breakfast. Make sure you keep it Capital for the perfect soundtrack to the rest of your summer, and give us a wave through the studio window as you enjoy your time in the Red Dragon Centre.
