CAPTAIN MARVEL

Release date: 8 March

Taking us back to the 1990s, ‘Captain Marvel’ follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes, and fights to protect Earth from an interstellar war.

She’s one of the Kree, a race of noble warriors who are at war with the Skrulls. When their war reaches Earth, she teams up with a young Nick Fury – and begins to uncover secrets from her past as strange, forgotten memories start coming back to her.

Everything begins with her: ‘Captain Marvel’ sees Brie Larson join the ranks of Marvel heroes, alongside a cast that includes Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law and Ben Mendelsohn.

FISHERMAN’S FRIENDS

Release date: 15 March

A fast-living, cynical London music executive heads to a remote Cornish village on a stag weekend where he’s pranked by his boss into trying to sign a group of shanty singing fishermen.

He becomes the ultimate ‘fish out of water’ as he struggles to gain the respect or enthusiasm of the unlikely boy band and their families who value friendship and community over fame and fortune.

As he’s drawn deeper into the traditional way of life he’s forced to re-evaluate his own integrity and ultimately question what success really means.

WHAT MEN WANT

Release date: 15 March

With her newfound power, Ali looks to outsmart her colleagues as she races to sign the next basketball superstar, but the lengths she has to go to will put her relationship with her best friends and a potential new love interest (Aldis Hodge) to the test.
