  • From Swansea and West
    Leave the M4 at Junction 33 and get onto the dual carriageway A4232. Head on for about 5 miles and go through a set of tunnels and stay in the left hand lane. At the first roundabout take a left, at the second take a left and then finally a left at the third roundabout. This will bring you into the Red Dragon Centre car park.
  • From Newport and the East (and London)
    Leave the M4 and get onto the A48(m) Junction 29. Follow signs for Cardiff Bay and County Hall. The Red Dragon Centre car park entrance is situated opposite County Hall.
  • From Merthyr and the North
    Stay on the A470 through Cardiff City Centre. Follow signs for Cardiff Bay and County Hall. The Red Dragon Centre car park entrance is situated opposite County Hall.

By Bus

Cardiff Bus operates the following regular services to the Bay.

  • Baycar BendyBus

The Baycar Bendybus operates every 10 minutes during the day Monday to Friday, and every 15 to 20 minutes on Sundays and during the evening. The service links Cardiff Bay with Cardiff Queen Street Station, Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, St. Mary Street and Cardiff Central railway station.

  • Route 8

Buses operate 15 minutes during the day (Monday to Saturday) and every 30 minutes on Sundays and during the evening. The service runs from the Heath Hospital and Crwys Road, City Road, Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Castle Street to Cardiff Bay.

  • Route 35

Buses operate every 15 to 20 minutes during the day Monday to Saturday from Greyfriars Road and Cardiff Central Bus Station to Cardiff Bay and the International Sports Village.

By Train

Frequent rail services operate Mondays to Saturdays with connections at Queen Street station from the rest of the Valleys and Cardiff local routes network. There are also connections at Cardiff Central Station.

The doors of The Red Dragon Centre are open 364 days a year! The only day we close is Christmas Day!
